What is the SCADA business value?

The majority of SCADA systems (probably close to 90%) are located below IMM Level 1. SCADA can bring a lot of information from the RTUs, PLCs, Pumps, etc but that is often not the case and when it is, it’s not used at its full potential.

Simple questions as:

  • How many wells are on plunger, intermitter or gas meter?;
  • How is the production today VS last week average, 2 weeks ago average; current month VS last month?

are often not that easy to answer.
